Thank you, Wanda, I wasn't aware there was much of anything left from that era. It is nice to know the VA is still there. As the Knights of Columbus, we plan visits the Veterans at Bay Pines (St. Pete) and Haley's (Tampa), on an every other month basis.

A belated Happy GB Day. I "post it" before adding it to the post. I used to spend quite a bit of time in Orlando. I had my US Navy Basic Training at the former base in Winter Park. It is now a developed sub-division. You can track it through the historical option on Google Earth.
