Your opinion won't change the format. Lets see how that 8-8 team fares against the Pats now. I say Brady will own the Broncos, but I said the same about the Steelers beating the Broncos. Who knows??? If I did, I would be rich.

Not their fault that their division sucks. But they shouldn't HOST a playoff game! Just ask last year's Saints!

Well, I'll say that an 8-8 division winner does not deserve a home field playoff game. They do it the NHL and NBA too, but its not right.

Disagree all you want dakine. Even after the Ponies beat the Steelers I don't feel an 8-8 team should make the playoffs.

Scout, there were 3 teams in the west that finished 8-8. I disagree with your statement that an 8-8 team shouldn't go to the playoffs.

The Niners were the big surprise. And the AFC West was still the worst division in the NFL. No 8-8 team should be in the playoffs.

LOL! These preseason picks mean as much as preseason NCAA polls-NOTHING! At least I was right about the Packers, Saints, and Pats, and I was close with the Steelers! And my SB picks are very much alive. Boy, was I dead wrong on the Niners!

Not sure the Colts can win without Peyton. He is supposedly going to have a 3rd procedure on his neck.

I don't think the Niners will tank the season but they won't be very good. Don't forget not very good could still win their division!

How long has Daunte been out of the game, not to mention his age? He won't be an upgrade at QB. Niners are in for a very long season!

How come a lot of people are picking SF in the NFC West, when Alex Smith stinks and they have no other QB? Cards and Rams at least have decent QB's.
I'm taking Packers over Pats in the SB. Eagles may get the league's best record, but will die in their first playoff game.

Really the Lions? I have not followed what they have done and I hope you are right, I would love to see them in the playoffs. Not sure about your NFC West pick, I understand Seattle went big in the FA and the Rams seemed to have gotten a couple more weapons for Sam to throw to, bolstered their run defense and picked up a couple good back up RB's. Otherwise I cannot argue with your picks. Lets get the season going and see how you did.
