First, I don't think that the price posts for Costco's or Sam's Club take up that much of the site. But just because they may be the lowest cost gas stations doesn't mean they're the least expensive for you because, if for no other reason, those stations may be far enough out of your way that you end up spending more money on gas used to travel to/from the member club than you'd save on the price. Simply refer to generic gas buddy listing for the area you want and choose your place to shop accordingly.
Second, if you're using the trip calculator, and you check the "view map" link, it will list all the gas stations along the route, enabling you to choose from other gas stations with a minimum of inconvenience.
And no, you can't ask a member to use their club membership for you to get gas; it's against the rules they agreed to when they joined the membership club. There's a reason that there's generally lower priced gas at the member clubs, and that's because membership fees (what you're not paying) offsets the cost.
As for posting prices, I understand maxstar's point. After a year and a half of membership, I'd probably expect a few more gas price posts, even if it was just a couple more price posts every month than you've posted so far, even if a person didn't get on the website very often, to help your fellow members be more knowledgeable shoppers. Just once in a while shouldn't be too much of an expectation, but that's just my opinion.

Make sense going to DFW area mapped my trip cost calculator has me refueling at an Amarillo Sam's, Now since I don't have a membership at sam's and don't know Amarillo well I'm going to have to do it the old fashion way and just start to look for cheap place to refuel around the time that I hit Amarillo.

Chill out Max.I don't get on the site much this is my first time on the message forum THANKS FOR THE WELCOMING THOUGHTS..not a complaint dude don't be so sensitive! Just looking for help here. I have not everyone has membership to costco and sam's and if you're a long trip in places you're not familiar with without a phone or GPS device what you you do? Go to Costo or sams and beg a member to use their card for gas? Their should be some way of filtering these if they don't meet ones needs.

yapaqe: Others do have memberships so they should be included. Post some gas prices. you have been a member since December 2010 and have (1 post and 120 points) contributed nothing except this complaint.

if you are looking for cheaper gas at these places, i would say if it not between your daily commute or within 2 miles radius of your home, don't bother. It is not worth. I used to have Costco, but now the nearest Costco for me is 17 miles. So I did not renew my costco membership this year.
